The World of TAP
I’ve been in the creative world for over 20 years now—and if there’s one thing I can say, it’s that the path has never been straight. (and I have a tattoo on my right arm that signifies that journey)
It started with an art teacher at school who saw something in me before I fully saw it myself, nudging me toward graphic design. That took me to uni, and eventually into the “real world”… where I found myself doing everything from marketing to a (very random) stint in insurance in London just to make a living.
But creativity was always there—pulling me back. Calling me home.
I’ve always had an eye for aesthetics (very Libra of me), and a love for anything visual—graphics, typography, icons, styling. I’ve never really dressed “on trend”—more like… adjacent to it. Taking what I like and making it my own.
After stepping away from my marketing career and feeling a bit swallowed by corporate life, I needed something that felt like ME again.
That’s where TAP came in.
It wasn’t just a brand idea—it was a reset. A return to creating for the sake of it. And honestly, it gave me a piece of myself back. It's what lights me up and keeps a smile on my dial.
My love for clean graphics, considered type, and subtle statements is what shaped TAP’s first collection, 'Cosy Ambition'. It’s understated but intentional—designed to be worn your way, not just the way.
TAP is for people who like things a little different. A little thoughtful. A little off-centre in the best way.
Because style shouldn’t feel prescribed—it should feel like you.
